ute parts are fairly easly to get coz they r still made in south africa as a bakkie. someone correct me if i am wrong cya DAVE

if a valve is gone yes it does run like ####. it also runs like #### if the bolts come loose on the rocker assembly that happened to me it sounds cool though

oh ok then cos i am turboing a 1400 and i just think that some kind of injection would be better than carb. how much would u want for them

The A12A was introduced from 8/79. The only obvious mod is the bore size increase over the A12. Details are sketchy..
Bore: 75mm Stroke: 70mm Conrod: 121.5mm Block Hieght: 189.1mm Displacement: 1237cc Power: 69hp

cut springs have nasty pointy teeth and are more trouble than they are worth. lowered king springs are only about AU$150. 3 inches is abit excessive don't ya think

ok then i'll scan them as soon as possible. the reason i asked about the variations is that my a14 has the engine number then B on the end. i thought i coulda got a special one but mabye not

i am just curious. does anybody know how many diff types of a14 were made? like the a12 has a12 a12a a12gx does the a14 have a similar thing? thanx DAVE
P.S. my 1200 manual has all the wheels road tests for the 100 and 1200 i could scan them if any one would be interested

ok cool. now i think there was a discussion about turbos a little while ago but i cant find it a mechanic mate of mine has a turbo off of a 2.8 pajero (diesel) can u use them on petrol motors he only wants $100 for it thats y i am asking thanx DAVE
