I'm a fan of the smooth look.........
Mines got smooth door handles & locks, B pillar plastic vents removed and inner smoothed over, rear rain gutter and rail on tub removed, tail lights smoothed over, custom rear tailgate section weleded and smoothed, aerial removed and welded over, bonnet squirters removed, fuel filler relocated inside tray, rear cabin wall smoothed over on outside (under rear screen)......
think thats it......well you can check out my pics in the photo album anyway......
Cheers Andy

I'd roll/flare all the guards.....not just lip them (if you want it really low).
On the fronts, you'll rub the firewall (unless you run adjustable castor).
On the rear, they should be fine, providing you lip/roll the guards.
I went around 3-4 inches lower. Can't remember, and not really fussed, it just looks about right!!
But l panel beat all 4 corners to have as much flare as possible.

Get a boot release, from pretty much any car at the wreckers!!!
I use a ZD (l think??) Fairlane boot release as its also got an electric solenoid if you want to get fancy.....
as for the welded or not....well, before l welded it, and after l welded it....l still think it looks better now.......but l really don't care if mine is useful or not!!

Passenger guard needs some minor work and could be used, drivers side would need some work.
Haven't thoroughly examined the panels as there is heaps of rust through the car.
PM me your email address, and l'll send some pics.
Cheers Andy

I had a 'little' trouble finding some, but eventually found a place called "rapid auto" on ebay. He is also in Melbourne and can get them for you (unless you know a lovells distributor??).
Just search for "lowering blocks" on ebay, and he's the one selling most of them!!!
$75 Delivered, or you can pick up for $65.
Just got my set, and am very happy!!
