You really need to calculate the exact flow requirements. A good efi shop should be able to help with this (I'd research this thoroughly before doing anything)

I was only thinking 1 or 2 extra, but again depends on requirements & amount you want to spend!!

I need a daily driver!!!

I'm looking for something as standard as possible.....

Will pay more if its very close or has RWC.

I'm in Melbourne, so if you hear of any bargains, let me know.

Andy

I've got one that l use on my Remote Control Monster Truck. It uses infra red. I got it from the US, for about $50 AUD ($25US +$10 US shipping) www.rcboyz.com (below for exact location).

Theres a few others you can get locally, but generally doubles the price.

Rallycar, l've been doing some research into this myself. Found a good website:

http://www.diy-efi.org/diy_efi.html

http://www.techedge.com.au/vehicle/default.htm

The second website is a GM specific site and has tonnes of stuff.

Sorry don't know how to link, but heres the shot of the door only (before painting).

http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=4838

If you can do the work yourself, its really cheap and relatively easy. Basically you just:

1. Drill a hole in the top of the door for the new "door knob"
2. Run 5mm rod through the hole and down into the locking mechanism (requires bending and shaping to fit).
3. Tap threads top and bottom of the 5mm rod
4. Attach knob to top & linkage at bottom.
5. Weld up holes in door (use metal sheet for handle hole)
6. Install central locking for lock/unlock.

Took me about a day to do each door.

To get any sort of clearance with my car l had to totally panel beat the guards on all 4 corners (around 2 inches further out).

If you are running big rims &/or rubber which are rubbing, i wouldn't muck around with lipping the guards, just go straight to a panel beater and get it done right.

Or if you are handy with the tools, panel beat it yourself, then just get it painted.

I had mine lipped first, and all it did was rub the tyre....which ends up costing more than the paint job!!!!!

Oh yeah, l agree about the baseball bat working......but l wreckon you'd still need/want to paint the guard anyway.
