I dont know if you are still after anyone who playes with standard CA ecu's but Kev Rowley in Brisbane has gotten some good results from playing with them.

According to the QLD Transport Department the largest LEGAL donk for a 1200 ute is a 2.0L.

There are a few 2.0L donks out there but most (including me) go for the SR20. There is the FJ20, the RB20, Astron 2.0 or even the 2.0L series datto donks.

The reason I choose the SR20 is cause of the huge aftermarket performance support for them and they can also be STROKED easily (but not too cheaply) to 2.4L.

From a stock SR20DE I would be happy with 14's/15's down the quarter but the best thing is it can only get BETTER

Sorry mate, I didnt mean to insult you but going off your first decription of the carby, being a bit vague, I just assumed it was a bit of a SH@#TA.

My bad but at least it was a starting bid

Stacks on a tray back look cool but a nice set of dumps out the back also look tough. I would go the rear exiting exhaust cause thats me preferance.

I also think 2in, even though its a twin system is a little small for that size donk. I would step up to atleast twin 2.5in from the manifolds.

If you are gonna be spinning the engine that fast then invest in some good rods and pistons and a get the engine balanced. AS well do the rocker stopper thing perthute said.

650 for a whole silvia is pretty awesome concidering I cant even find an engine for that price. I am Jealous

Maddat has S@#TLOADS if stuff for such a conversion and it looks pretty good quality too. If you want to retain the factory computer but still squeeze a few extra ponys from it try Kev Rowley in Brisbane. He can modify CA computers and get good reliable power so I am guessing he can do the same for SR's. He also does conversion kits a bit cheaper than maddat. If you are keen I can PM you his number. Might be worth while even just to brainstorm with the bloke.
