Sorry to come in a little late. But I am interested to know if one was to increase the size of the rim/tyre this may increase the weight of the rim/tyre. In doing this would it not take a little more HP to turn the increased mass of the rim/tyre combination. You may loose a little HP initially but it should not matter up in the RPM. Personally I reccon leave the DYNO for the number chasers and and let your quarter mile times do the talking.
Nah thanks BVC_Bullet, just trying to keep costs down and I kinda like the old STEEL rim look, especially when its smoking its ASS down the strip. wannt try and swap my mags for some good STEELIES and good tyres. My dream mags would be CONVO PROS.
Thankyou oh wise one, I am thinking on making my own extractors to suit my CA18DE as its dam hard to find any off the shelf items, back to the drawing board.
Just wandering if anyone has pics or measurements of the bolt spacings on the exhaust side of the SR20 head or exhaust manifold. Just trying to see the different between the CA18 and SR20 exhausts. I currently have a CA18DE set up so just the SR20 info please. CHEERS.
Cheers for that whitesedan, I will look into it. I am just worried about the whole front wheel drive off set thing. Thats the problem with my current 15CSA alloys, The are front wheel drive off set and need spacers to fit, SPACERS SUCK.
Hay all, just wandering what 15in pursuit style (like on cop cars) rims fit the 1200 ute with out any spacers. Just after a year make and model of car so I can call a wreaker and ask for quotes. I would like a bit of width for the rear and a nice even fit for the front to suit 120y struts with silvia brakes. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Ahhh, the joys of owning a UTE, Chuck her in the back matey. Could make a tool box where the original tank is and sit the spare in there sitting horizontal. It will sit into the tray a bit but a nice polished lid will fix it.
