Wow man thanks heaps for those links, so much info for me to absorb. I am not sure if I will do the mod as I am knida short of space between my head and firewall. I might just leave it and try and find another head and enlarge the factory oil return holes.

It just so happens I have the engine out because I am welding the oil return to the sump from the turbo with -10 fittings. I am very interested in the oil mod to the head if it doesnt have to be removed. What was the process if you dont mind telling me.
Also I am not too worried about the sumps oil capacity as my ute will be more of a daily driver with the odd squirt down the quarter mile.

Cheers for that, it kinda rings a bell. I do remember that some CA guys weld wings/boxes to the edges of their sumps to increase the capacity as the oil drains back too slow to the sump and the pick up can be exposed to air. I guess I could either enlarge the drain back passages in the head or increase the sump capacity. Doing both would be best,I am running a remote oil cooler/filter set up which will incerease capacity maybe 500ml (hoses and cooler core volume). I was hopeing not to pull the head off so I might chance it for now and just keep an eye on the oil pressure and temp.

Hay D, what do you mean if the head had an oil restrictor put in it. You dont mean to restrict the feed to the ball bearing turbo or is the head restriction a different mod???

No on the engineering side, I spoke to my tuner and he said they will organise the engineering of it. They have a mobile guy that will come buy when its in their shop, I am kinda crossing my fingers. I have taken plenty of pictures of the things I have built so if he needs info hopefully that will be enough.

And now for the turbo's dump pipe. Since going the top mount route I've had to make a new dump pipe to suit but its all good now. I made it from a few left over bits of 3in exhaust doughnut and pipe. I am not running a seperate screamer pipe so I dont know if that will affect anything?

FINALLY built my bloody gearbox crossmember. Now that the engine angle is fixed all other other jobs can be started/finished.

oh well, there goes the easy way, time to wind down the power in my mig and weld on a fitting to the drain, might blaze some wings on the sump too while I am at it.

Yeh, remote mounting the coils gets them out of the heat, I've heard of people even mounting the coils inside the vehicle cabin. I am thinking of putting mine on the firewall or even inside if I can find a nice spot for them. I am unsure at the moment as I got plenty of other things to sort out before I think about that.
