I to ran my air con set up of my A12 you have to wait for the motor to be warm to turn the compressor on. You can run a idler adjuster on some carbys to compensate for the minimul increase of load.

I dont want it cose my car right now is in bits and I need cash to get it back together and air con is not on the my wish list im looking around the $400 mark -4DALOT-

It was blowing a little bit of smoke not huge amounts so i took the pistons just to do rings for a freshen up then thought of putting Ca18 in my ute and now its taking up room in the shed if you want it call me, dont care who, highest bidder what ever i can drop it of at transport places for you if you want.
