You can buy specialised gearboxes for motorbike engines in the UK for about two grand, that just have forward and reverse in 1:1, and neutral. You then use the sequential shift motorbike engine. You can hook up two starter motor solenoids to the gear shifter and have two buttons on the steering wheel for near instantaneous gear changes. But my engineer wasn't too keen and I have to look into it for the CAMs rules.

Imagine the sound of a hayabusa engine in a 1K.

I am going to fiddle with the GTI engine in my K, I have one lying around and you can buy sierra gearboxes for $200. Will let you know how it goes. You can guy cheap second hand go fast bits at redlinegti.com

Sounds like we have it pretty good here! CAMS rallys are more expensive (by $100 or so) and you don't get fed.

AMSAG is mostly for older cars, so there is heaps of old dattos, toyotas, triumphs, etc, but there is a modern class as well.

I believe that engines do this if they are running too hot.

All the rallys we have done have been with AMSAG but cost around $450-550 and include meals for the weekend, with about 250- 300km compeitive. Sounds pretty similar.

It was never designed for kb10's but I thought it looked cool.
Those stripes are just made from school book contact (that adhesive covering stuff) but I plan to paint them on when i get the car resprayed.
