A friend of ours was driving a land rover discovery along a gravel road at about 90kph when the front uni joint let go, and it popped the back of the car into the air and did all kinds of damage to the rear end. Ever since then he has used the loop to catch it.

Thanks Neil, I was about to do that but you beat me to it.

And there will be another one to add in a couple of weeks when I get my other KB10 from Murwolinbar (or however you spell it).

I thought the car looked pretty sweet, but why put a 9 inch (live axle) in a car with independant rear suspension? Even if the car did have alot of power, im sure a skyline setup, 180sx, whatever would handle it, and he could of retained the IRS. Other than that, I thought it was fantastic. Thats my 2 cents worth

Welcome.

You should be able to get yourself quite a nice car for that amount. Try looking through these places to start with:

ozdat 'for sale' page

datnet 'for sale' page

and here,

this site's 'for sale' section

Good luck!

I know, I now have 3 days worth of driving ahead of me to get all my stuff!!

Well its funny you should say that, because the KB10 fits with about an inch to spare each side on a 5x9 trailer. Thats how I brought mine home from melbourne.

Well I told you lot to buy it quick... because now I have!

The guy who is selling it is the guy I bought my spare gearboxes off. With this and the bits I bought last night, I will have all the bits I need to fix mine, and probably enough to make another car. I will try and sort out a handbrake cable for Ray.

I think the plan of attack will be to sort out the bits that I will need to complete both cars, then put all the spare bits for sale here. Give me a few weeks to get it all sorted out.

Now I will have a KB10 racer and stocko (ish) cruiser (maybe).

I dont believe what I have got myself in for!

Ian

Someone buy this car!!

this is the link

I now have a couple of A10's with gearboxes and a spare coupe door, headlights, and probably whatever else is needed to get it up and running nicely. Get a nice paint job, buy some stocker wheels and whitewalls and get the springs reset, and you will have one sweet cruiser. Before I do!!!
