I'll be using ARP head studs to try keep it together :p. HP I'm not bothered. I have a minimal budget, a nice 1200 ute so I gotta try make the most from available parts :/

Ok many searches and I read I think from dodgeman that there is machining and drilling to use a a10 flywheel with the later clutches so I might go with a standard a12 flywheel and maybe a a15 vanette clutch? Im using a 60 series 4 speed for now. Also can anyone tell me what sort of turbo this is? Its a bit odd

Good to know :). Now my next question is this a12 had a 1000 std gearbox attached to it. Can I use the flywheel still? Im pretty sure the 60 series box wont match the 1000 clutch but I thought 1000 flywheels were lighter. Do a14/a15 clutchs fit 1000 flywheels? Or does it require machining?

Hey guys after a long time im finally building up my a12 turbo motor. I originally bought it carby turbo. Atm im replacing a few things. Im using a duropro gasket kit. Im not sure if the headgasket is good enough though? Im using a standard bottom end and a h89 head. the heads at the machinist getting faced, pressure tested and im using Stewart Wilkins double valve springs. I am also going to purchase arp head studs as well. I dont expect to reach 280hp but I am interested to see what I can get out of a pretty much standard a12/h89 combination. The carby turbo probably will go back on untill I can save some more for efi. Doee anyone have any advice or positive input? thought it might be a good idea to ask :p
