hey,
had a 2 inch system put on ute today, it's got exhaust manifold and the piping bolts onto that in a very crappy fashion (not the exhaust places fault, it's just the way they are) anyway, i'm looking to buy a set of extractors for the a12 will the exhaust i just had put on be able to fitted to them (extractors) pretty easily?
also will this help the car run better?

i'm glad someone bought this up... i'm only 17 and i bought my 1200 ute when i was 16 1/2 ish, i got it rego'd and i've been driving it ever since.
To me it's the coolest car on earth, nothing else compares, it's small like me so i feel as though i "fit it" and everywhere i go in it, it turns heads even though it's stock as a rock and goes really slow.
I'm in the process of having it lowered and my exhaust done, so it'll look and sound a lot tougher, no doubt it'll turn more heads.
I really love it when middle aged people (like my old mans friends) come up to me and tell me they used to own a 1200 or some sought Datsun back in the day, and as much as people boo-hoo them, most admit they where the greatest cars they've ever owned.
LONG LIVE THE DATSUN.

hey guys
i want to lower the ute and keep it all legal (i've been told lowering blocks aren't legal) so i'm thinking have the leafs re-set and lowered king springs in the front. does anyone know someone in brissy that could do this?
cheers alex

well i was going to look at the mark gibson ones, but i've heard they don't match up to well. i'll have a look at repairing the rust in the quarter panels. How does the tailgate fit? i really would like a new one of those, mine is fairly crappy.
cheers anyway.

g'day guys
i wanna replace some of the crappier panels in my ute and do a little re-spray job.
Those after market panels you can buy, are they any good? do they match up ok and everything? are they worth buying or am i better to have the existing ones repaired and painted?
any help appreciated.
cheers
