ok guys, i'm going to be starting work on my ute in about a year and i would like to have a good idea of what the ca18det conversion will cost. if anyone could take the time to give a *relatively* detailed list of cost this would be greatly appreciated.
cheers alex

there is a set of 2 or 3 inch lowering blocks on ebay going in the next 10 mins. what size would lower the back of the ute so i have wheels at the arces ( a neat job, not too low but not a waste of money leaving me going ahh i wish it was lower)

funny you should say that because the seal in the bottom of the carby is broken. i'm going over to my mates place on saturday and we'll have a tinker with the timing and the carb etc. hopefully we can get it a little better.
it was suggested that a weber 32/36 down draft with a set of extractors could help, but was mentioned in a previous post here.
cheers guys

hey guys
i've been fiddling around with the ute all day trying to get it to idle properly, i noticed that the seal at the bottom of the carby is cracked and isn't sealing at all, could this effect the carby?
cheers alex

g'day guys
i'm having a little problem with the ol' a 12, in the morning when i start it up it will cut out imediately after taking my foot off the accelerator. it's not cold enough yet for the choke and yes i've tried that. it's ok once it's warmed up a bit but yeh, is there something i can adjust or change to fix this annoying problem.
cheers
