If you fit a Weber 32/36 or 180 Holley Carby onto a Datsun 1200, Would any modifications need to be made to the bonnet?

We are on a knife edge here in Lakes waiting for the king tide to hit.....So we'll be bailing water soon by the look of it.

Would the Weber 32/36 be the same adaptor plate as the 180 Holley?

Regarding polishing alloy I'd definately recommend using Autosol metal polish....It's cheap and works wonders. But preperation needs to be done first like removing the built up grease and grime. Once thats been removed, Hit it with steel wool. Once it's all nice and clean it will be ready for the Autosol polish.
Try it and see....You won't be dissapointed.

Just the main section that slides in and out. If you have one in good condition that isn't cracked, Let me know a price and I'll buy it.

Anyone? Anyone at all? Prefer black but any colour will do as long as it is in good condition with no cracks.
