You've got a point there Dodgeman, But a chrome sports air filter looks alot better than the standard bulky unit that the 1200's came out with.

I'm after a sports air filter to suit a Datsun 1200 (Standard 1200 carby). The one I am looking for is something like a RAMFLO filter with foam instead of paper element.
If anyone can help then that would be great.

I had a look at the little 1000 sedan and it's rough. For the price it's okay, You'd be able to get your money's worth from it. But if you are interstate then the cost of getting it back to your state would far outway the cost of the car.

Yeah mate, I'll take a look at it hopefully later this arvo, But if not then tomorrow for sure. The car is white and has a few dents but for it's age it looks rather clean.... But a thorough inspection may tell a different story. I'll let you know what it's like.

There is a complete Datsun 1000 4 door sedan around the corner from me and I think he only wants $500 for the car. Don't know much about it because I haven't had a good look at it.

I have for sale a February 1977 issue of Modern Motor magazine that has a feature on Datsun utes. It features both the 1200 and 1500 Datsun utes. The magazine is in very good condition for it's age. It is missing 4 pages but it does not interfere with the Datsun ute section.
Selling for $10. Pick up welcome or I can post it.
