yes the yards are getting fewer I think a combination of council land rates going up and the mobil crushers paying cash for whole cars.
the guys in my Classic Club relying on word of mouth on who has a stock of bits in their back yard.

When I mention I am restoreing a 120y I always get the comment they had one in their family...... alot like the VW beetle
As for people who put pen to paper......

There never been a statue erected in honour of a critic.

Gday
both my 1975 2door sedans first one brough new from Capital Motors Auburn NSW now a shopping centre the second picked up in 2006 from second owner also sold from same dealer (both look identcal same colour etc)
No garnise(new to that expression) and look like a 4door from the rear.
I have wondered how I find how many of these 2door sedans were sold in Australia?

I see on Ebay you can get New door arm rest and trim from the USA and Mexico.

Are they available in Aust.

Gday All a mate has obtained the Birth cert(proof of manufacture) from germany for his 1956 VW .
Has anyone been able to track their dato back to prodution line and if so how did you do it . I tried NISSAN Vic to get car and paint details for 75 120y useing VIN number.
They tried but their records didnt go back that far.
