I agree with dodgeman, rods don't have journals as such, to my understanding a journal is a surface that a plain bearing runs on, not a surface that the shell backs up against and has no relative movement against.
Checked in my factory B120 workshop manual and doesn't list exact resistance, in fact doesn't even mension it at all, thats why i gave you my from memory guess.
Don't know what resistance the fuel tank has should be the same empty and full however if your talking about the sender unit resistance then as close to 0 ohms as possible at full and probably about 100 ohms empty.
You could try a Nissan H260 you might not have much suspension travel though before the bowl hits the floorpan, and while your at it you could fit a TD42 4.2 diesel You did say could fit!
Yeah i thought 1600 would increase the track width, just got offered a set and was considering the possibilities. I'm guessing 180B struts are the same diameter tube as a stanza or are they the same as B120, B210. I also want to stay with the standard diameter strut tube so there is more room for wheels.
Do the 180B struts increase the track width because i want to keep it the same as standard, I reckon they probably would. Ideally i want a set of late 120Y struts with PBR caliper as i have a set of these on one of my utes and am very happy with these but can only seem to find the crappy earlier struts at wreckers around SE QLD. If you could find me a set of these I would buy them off you. Cheers.
Searched the tech section but couldn't find anything. Do Datsun 1600 P510 front struts, hubs and brakes bolt into a 1200 (1985 B120) and what are the pro's and con's of this setup if it can be done?
I'm after some 1200 ute drum brake front struts if somebody has some they want to giveaway or sell very cheaply. I'm on the northside of Brisbane but will drive maybe 200km to pick-up.
