Yeah the gearstick is just that pin or bolt sometimes!
I think its only six bolts for the box! I can't remember and couldn't be bothered checking! lol!
Also dont forget to take the starter out! but I supose you already have seen that and done it!

Hey if my mate was to get a front cut could the brakes or anything be used on his 1200?
Or is he just better off getting the engine on its own?

He isn't going to modify the engine just yet!
So he would just put the standard computer but if You guys say don't bother with the halfcut he will use the nissan computer if it comes with the engine if not he will get an aftermarket one so later he has the option of modifications!

Just after your thoughts!

But seriously it's not that heavy!
I remember the day I got an A15 and brought it home in the back of my Laser!
The bloke I got it off helped me put it in the back but when I got home no one else was around!
( So I had to lift it myself! man that was hard!)

You and your boys are firefighters so you should be stronger than me! ( You break down doors with axes all the time!
Trust me I have seen it on TV!)

Plus you said the car is a wreck so it doen't matter if you have a rest halfway and sit it on the radiator support!( But if you arent worried chop the front why not make it easier for yourself! Just don't tell these blokes you are chopping up a datto!)

And for the gearbox your on the right track!
I would just put the jack under it! then take out the engine! then bring the gearbox out the front! ( Unless you got the car high enough to bring it out the side!)
Either way dont forget to take the gearstick out first!

Firstly Greetings to you mate!

Secondly yes anything is possible!

Thirdly why not just get one mate unbolt the gearbox and lift the engine out?
( It is only an A12! My missus even helped me with one!)

Simon I agree with everything you said but If you look two blokes asked about fuel pumps:
1 with a NA setup ( Ernals ute!)
and Barpk who it seting up a blowthrough carbie!

Ernals ute needs a low pressure pump like you just described and I had previously!
And Barpk needs a high pressure pump
( As he will have forced induction! )
( Please try not to confused Barpk as he seems pretty confused already!)

Barpk - When I said boosted i mean the cars me and my friends have messed with! ( They have all been tourbocharged! or we haven't bothered touching the fuel pump!)

When I said fuel press was set at 6 psi I am saying that when the car isn't running any boost pressure this is where the feul pressure has been set! ( I am basically saying that whether the car is boosted or not( meaning not turbocharged) the needle and seat can handle 6psi fuel pressure!)

The reason we set it to this much ( 6 psi )
Is so that when we run any boost pressure the fuel pressure is always going to be atleast 6 psi more than the boost psi!
( If you still don't understand go back and read all of the stuff I have written and what others have tried to explain in simpler form!
Other wise all I can say is try and see for yourself then you will work out what works and what doesn't! )

And I couldn't be bothered repeating myself as I get sick of it and I bet others do too!
( Plus I makes me seem like a ( I think I know it all! ) Wanker!

Yeah I agree but I wasn't really that bothered with the 1200 as it wasn't going to stay stock for long!

And if the limitations how much air and fuel you get! why don't you all boost your cars?
( Answer because sometimes you just cant be bothered! )
