I dunno how it got to you, but it came out in the datsun 140Y in south africa. was originally ment for the rally scene, but instead was put into, lets call it ''the special edition'' 140Y. so dont cut it up, its has no $ value, but status for those models

the easiest way to go now is to get hold of a loose 1400 steering boss, and fit it. if you cant get that, then try a ISUZU 250kb pickup's boss (like the 98-99 model) the splines are the same, if you have such pickup that is. youll need to reem the inside a bit, and in front 4-6mm has to be removed then fit and adjust to desire. an hours work max(when your lazy)

depending on in what country u live, u can find out. her in south africa there are places that make up a kit for your specification. but its sometimes cheaper to do it yourself. its a good thing to fit one. gives your engine longer life

ja! may they live for a long time to come. but as you say about the lights, its personal taste but still possible to fit the old lights. but the only way the japanese got this ute breaking point is to have the body rusted up

ok that i know. and also that the newer model for the 1400 is in place and still a rear wheel drive. and that the best place to get parts is in pretoria. see im from rustenburg and i was wondering if the rest of the work is as lucky as us to have them. but seems like the dont know about us. to those who is not in sa. check out this site www.speednsound.co.za and see what we are capable of with a ute.

how heavy is your ute no fuel? might be that its been set to rich or disconnect the choke. it may also be stuck. had that problem last winter.

what a bag of bull. it doesnt make sense that a mechanical would stop pumping at 6000 rpm.
