I questioned a friend and we'd talked about this ... conclusion if it is mostly race then get a custom set made for strength and insurance,,, otherwise get the strongest standard rods you can get and get them shotpeened or get them cryogenically strengthened....a process where controlled deep freezing strengthens the parts from right to the core....look it up on the net its good insurance.

Hi Harry good to see you again, if what you say about the spring size of the 240z etc....then the 240z lower control arms can fit the stanza...... is that correxct??? this would increase the camber and track width a little. Just what I need.....I hope...

Hi Regarding calipers Stanza, 200B, have the same caliper mounts
Cup sizes I think they are all the same cup sizes
Stub axle bearings Stanza, Bluebird, 200B, R31 Skyline are the same bearings
Stanza Lower control arms same as Sunny and 120Y.
I have a Sunny Coupe with Stanza Struts and Stanza brakes. I definately know that the lower arms are the same. Although the smae size springs are in the 1200, 120Y, Sunny, and Stanza. Now that should give you anm idea of the different Spring rates and Sway bar sizes. 120Y sway Bar is a good bar for the 1200. 200B has a good pad area on their calipers (Girling) with 200B rotors. Apparently they're a good thing on a budget. Slotted DBA Rotors and good Pads makes a difference.
Hope this helps
See Ya soon

Sorry guys, I still prefer the suck through carby setup, you don't have to worry about sealing the carby, accelerator cable and hoses for the fuel supply and so on,,,,a weber or su or stromburg or something that can flow enough air (cfm) to match the engine. just use the standard mechanical fuel pump which should handle it real well. Power with a t25 garrett should be around 180 Hp at the fly wheel on conservative boost say 8-12 pounds. you can wound it out to 15 pounds but then water and/or methanol injection would be needed to keep detonation down. You really need heavy duty valve springs as this will enable you to rev a little more. This injection can be made so it only comes on when you hit say 10 pounds. Throttle response should be really good and you don't need a Blow off valve as there is no throttle body in the way. So simple effective and practical, and it looks real cool seeing the carbys hanging off the turbo inlet. Better than looking at a box. Its also so much easier to work on. Oh and don't use the T2 as the pulsars and exa's usually get a t25 which is better. Besides the T2 would be generating heat at the top end of the efficiency range, which is bad it encourages detonation. And summer is coming....so its gonna be hot.

I like the Sucking turbo system use say a 2 inch SU or a Single side draft weber on the inlet of the turbo and use water and/or methanol injection to help keep intake charge cool. My friend has this setup on his Commodore Wagon with Black 202 six cylinder and goes really really well. He has side draft 45mm Weber. Its also easier to tune. For the A12-A15 get a hold of the t25. Its cheap and cheap to overhaul. Just a pointer you should find out if E15-T pistons and conrods and cranks can fit in the A15. wink wink.
