The only known GX-T in the country
Too bad it was scrapped when the owner died

I don't know but the previous owner told me it had twin carbs.
The other locally-assembled coupe 1200 GX I have for spares has a GX head and GX rocker cover for twin carbs.
I asked the assembler about it but the person in charge knows nothing about B210 lol

Bought this as a runaround while the yellow coupe is being worked on.
This is a locally-assembled 120Y Coupe GX just like I talked about earlier.
Quite rough condition-wise, needs tidying up but OK for a daily runner.
The twin SU had long gone though

They say PB210 came with 180 kph speedo unit even on DX and GL models.

Yes. I can confirm that.

I was wondering why my PB210 GL sedan had a 'B210' chassis code instead of 'PB210'.
I have since found two more such examples. One is GL, not sure about the other, I have not had the chance to look at it closely. Now I know these were locally assembled in 1974-75 (probably CKD) and registered as 120Y but fitted with L14 engine and had other usual JDM Sunny Excellent features like the 180 kph speedometer, H165 diff etc. I'm still researching if there was also a GX model locally assembled too. So it looks like Malaysia was the third country to have assembled the 'sharknose' Sunny B210 after Japan and South Africa.

Also found out there was a locally assembled KB210 GX model too in the same period (74-75). Also registered as 120Y. Not sure of emblems but grille badge is 'S' instead of 'D' and had other JDM GX features like twin SU, round gauges with tachometer, 180kph speedo etc.

That's Juha Kankkunen's Model A me think. Seen it in a Ford magazine many years back.

There's one at my local used parts shop but international shipping is expensive these days.

I'm from Malaysia. LOL I won't sell any of my cars too. I still have a couple of Mk1 Escorts lying around. Have been receiving a lot of offers for them but I won't sell 'cos I've had them for quite a long time and will restore them in the future.

There are quite a few KB210s over here but not as abundance as the 4-door sedan. Suprisingly most are GX imports. I currently have a local-spec one, in the process of turning it into a KPB210 and also a GX for spares.

We do have a local model GX sedan but it's only a name, not a true GX.

What about the yellow one?

Good score Robbie! Looks to be in good condition still. It seems Kenyan KB210 is better-specced than ours. Ours doesn't even have a tachometer. Gear console is smaller. But then we also have the highest spec JDM KB210GX which I believe can be ordered new back then, in addition to used ones sold by grey importers.

What about the white one you posted photos of earlier?
