yeah i'm pretty sure the throttle linkage is at the bottom left of the first photo, will pull it out and confirm (sneaky edit here). They are rare over here Chris, nobody really uses or appreciates them over here so thats why i thought i would advertise on the interweb

Have what looks to be a complete set-up here of 1200 gx/a12t etc head and twincarbs, including heat shield/exhaust manifold/linkages etc. Selling due to buying a new datsun and need to free up some funds so out they go. Have never tried them myself but they look in good condition.

Note: this is in New Zealand but will wrap, package and post worldwide. Postage to australia for a gearbox is $150 odd dollars so should be less than that as a rough idea

head height looks to be 74mm (measured with steel rule)
it only says "nissan japan" on the top....no numbers e.t.c.
ports on head are 38mm x 30mm it still doesnt look modified
it has the 4 water holes below the intake ports
it has the heart shaped combustion chambers
it has the extra hole for oil
valves look to be the same 35mm/29mm (again....steel ruler)

as for price?? offers
(also have a second set of twincarbs and manifold that can go with this as spares or sell seperately after the head etc sells.
Cheers
Grant

i dont think soda will take surface rust like that off, its pretty gentle in comparison. Sand will heat it up and warp it to much. Just use sander/strip disc. Much more hands on work but cheaper and a better result in the long run

i've got a little airfilter on mine that is held on with basically a big hose clamp the goes around the round to of the carb. No need for centre bolt and i've never had a problem with it in 4-5 years (touch wood). Cost $40ish??

a guy on here: http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/view ... it=casting+badges#p412457 sand cast some new badges for his isuzu bellett, if they're that rare you might want to do the same if you find a broken badge and make a run to ebay to help pay for it??? i dont think it cost too much to do from memory, just finding who does it
