wont need a pan hard if you set it up like the old LC LJ torries angled upper control arms theyll control bot the lateral and longitudinal forces simple.
and i think gq upper control arms might be able to be used if they are near enough to the appropriate length

just wondering if anyones actually done this? and legalities for rego im serously considering undertaking this, along with converting the front end to coilover, just using the front leaf spring mounts for your lower control arm then making a cross member across the underside of the floor for the upper control arms wouldnt be all that hard???

Either fit flares with a modded 1200 ute diff or shorten a series 1 bluebird diff
[Edit] you could also use fwd offset rims with the 1200 ute diff

First things first how good is all the window rubber? Secondly how far you restoring it? Ground up? Just slap a coat of paint? Also 2dr sedan doors fit all 1000 dashes fit except coupe nd ute dashes coupes have the uber sexy one and the ute don't have one at all (all the utes I've seen thus far and same with all the early early 1000's) if you can track down a complete coupe dash nd metal frame I'd look into doing that
My wagon rubber was #OOPS#ed so I cut out the split for the rear windows now what I'm doing with all the windows is making it like the hq front windscreen lay a bit of that sticky strip of rubber and place the windscreen nd windows on, save me trying to track down good rubber all I have to do is a lil
mod nd get a super window for the rear..
And how long till you need those bits? All my stuffs in storage so can't get it till atleast mid year, I stripped about 4 wagons all where #OOPS#ed and missing some stuff but I've got nearly everything

Chris things happen, work changes life changes and also getting into it and not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when restoring these it can be lengthy and hard. that's what happened with mine I started got all the parts and everything ready to go then work changed (joined the defense force) and at the moment I still have no time after 18months of work, lucky I have the luxury of storing them and at one point I did look into selling everything, because it was easier
