The alfa driver was probably interested in the y so he could be a bit more in the league of his mates with the ferraris.

The gx bonnet makes the difference in setting your car apart and its not easy to get one so its not easy to replicate, especially when you are building a show/ race car. It makes all the difference when building a high quality car.

No not really. Thats what ive always known them as. Im sure a lot more people will know what you are talking bout when you say gx bonnet rather than facelift bonnet.

Its only a sr20de so its not really that cheap. And it looks pretty rough. If it was a complianced sr20det then it would be worth it just for the fact it was complianced for qld, since they arnt legal to build anymore.

No. they are standard bonnets as far as i can tell from the pics. Every 1200 has a bonnet like those.

Ive never tried it before, but they are a different shape, for the backseat. Probably best just to take a tape measure and compare the mounting point dimensions and go from there.
If they are close enough you might be able to get it in and hav it look ok.

I have available 1 all steel original gx bonnet. A mate has asked me to advertise it for him. It is probably the best condition gx bonnet you will find in australia or anywhere else.
Perfectly straight except for one very small indent. Perfectly rust free. Just wet and dry basically and paint to suit your car.
Genuine interest only.
offers over 1000 bucks.
