HUGE difference between a car that runs a 9 sec pass and a car that runs 2 seconds faster. You couldnt build a car that runs 7's for 25 grand, just parts would cost more than that.

I suppose there is no point in building a top fuel, funny car or a formula one car either? Maybe you havnt heard of a thing called competition? Thats what people do when they are serious about performance... Thats the point.
