i have a turbo grind cam with a stock carbie, it works, might be a bit quicker if you used a different carbie though...

normally there are about 6 or so holes in the base plate which have a thread to tighten the bolts into... im guess thats what he has done on this.. i just wish i had that type of cash.... :(

cheers dude,
would it make anything weaker if i had to drill out the crossmember and the strut towers? and i have no idea about the whole offset thing... but, im gonna give it a try soon, and see how it goes..
