I'm always loath to suggest non-nissan options but what about a 4AGE, they are cheep, light, compact and if you banged a set of 40mm webbers on the side they are super simple to set up... (Oh and are grunty little, rev happy motors)

"If you think that you are going to pick up a 100% vacuum infused Carbon/kevlar bonnet for $500-$600 you are dreaming, the weaves, resins and vacuum bags cost more than that, let alone the labour of about 17-18 hours work."

"Thanks to re,pump australia (the blokes in the factory next to mine ) my vacum set up will be ready tommorow .also the rep from fibre glass international will be around with some material and giving me a demo on vacum infusion. there will not be any price changes on parts .carbon bonnets will still be $600......"Quote:

Wicked score! She looks like a lot of fun and with all that history it will surely keep appreciating in value. Is it just me or are the front guards not the same? The drivers side looks a lot more squared off than the right... What motor will you run, A12,14,15? Or something else?

Congrats on the kid man! Just a little observation, I know those flares are just taped on in the pic but it looks like the front one needs to sit quite a but higher for the scollop to line up with the front bumper, are you going to modify them or will they be sitting higher? I had to modify a set of flares and it was a nightmare to keep the same curves and then match both sides, I ended up with flares about an inch thick so had to take molds off of them to get back to standard fiberglass thickness...

The seats are very interesting, what BMW are they from? Look like E30 seats, I'd be interested in knowing how much they have been modified to suit. Oh and $1500usd sounds like a steal to me, well done.

I've been thinking about trying to build late-model audi style lights (ring of small lights) with multiple LED lights inside the break light housings and indicator housings... not sure whats involved though. I think it would look good as a static light with the brake light in the middle (if that makes sense).
