theres only two choices, as far as im concerned, coupe or two door sedan. the sedans slightly lighter but the coupes easer to find. both are beautiful little cars. and dont worry if its not got front disks, its an easy conversion. good luck.

have you got the standard fuel pump on? i just put a holly on and with the original small lines i need to run it at 4.5psi to get enough fuel to it which means at idle up to 2thou its splutery and backfires. if not then a wize man once said to me that 80% of 'carb' problems are actually the distributer. make sure its all ok as well.

buy a crapy disposable camera and get the pics put on to cd at the lab, only costs $10. Do you need to change the drive shaft? if not still get the original ballanced. i did this on my escort when changing engines, it was really out of ballance, but then again its a ford so youve got to expect that.

Ive got 250pound springs on stanza struts with adjustable platforms and theyre perfect, infact some people have told me their slightly too soft but i like them. go for adjustable platforms their easy to get done (just weld threaded tube onto struts and get matching threaded platforms). well worth the efffort!Quote:
I am worried that the engine is not heavy enough to compress the spring more than about one inch, and that with any body roll or bumps the wheel will end up off the ground!

3 wheels = less drag those vw golfs always have one of their rear wheels off the ground going arround corners.

hey stirlingmac you said that they (being nisan?) fitted the LZ20 into B110s. Do you have any more info on this class and mods? I want to build the most powerful 'replica' racer for clasics that i can and this might just be it but ive got to prove that the original was factory made and raced. PLEASE help me. the block only needs to be of the same family so if their hard to find i might be able to use similia nisan engine.
Cheers.

i think the government should use the $$ they get from speeding tickets to subsidise track-day costs. rather than condem road racing they should organise safe places for the "boy racers" to go.

go stanza struts. they come with 10 inch vented disks, good callipers and you can get bilstein inserts for them. they pretty much bolt straight in. and i dont think they weigh enough to cancel the vast improvements youll get from using them. and I agree with rotorace on the rear suspention.
