well, after a little bit of lathe maneuvers, I managed to get the bigger valves to be lighter than the std small valves... inlets weigh in at 60grams each, 4 g down from the std ones. the exhausts I managed to take a whopping 6 grams out of... from 58g to 52g each... they are all respectively now the same weight as well...

that amount of effort, and I would have a 20B in there... well actually a 20B would go in for about half the effort...

I have no Idea....

I just got back from the parts store....
got me a set of A15 valves, R170.73 for the set of inlets(37mm)
and R213.41 for the exhausts(30mm)...

what a pleasure....

will be getting the machining done tomorrow.... hopefully that will also not be to much

yes megasquirt is good for DIY.... very good actually....

for you over there.... it will be well worth it to look at Gotech...(www.gotech.co.za) a South African company.... their boxes are as good as they get, and the price is even better... especially for exporting.

I just install a little switchy somewhere... that cut's the fuel-pump.... I'll give you the keys and you will not be driving off with mine....

the switch is actually a little 555 IC in a monostable latch configuration. once you have the ignition on, you need to press the button, and it will stay on for as long as the ignition is on, shut down the car, and the latch will disengage automatically, next time you get in, you have to press the button again, so it's not like you can forget to switch it off..

nothing you can do about a tow-truck though... :(

oh by the way.... I'll take that asshole that wants money for the info on your stolen car, to the Cops.... that is, as far as I know, as big a crime as stealing the car in the first place...
