mate...
Go and get in contact with Kev Rowley, pm me and i can give you his home number if you want. He is god and will tell you everything you need to know and plan for. There is alot more than just motor diff and brakes. There is fuel, engineering testing, you have to do a brake test, stop hard from 100 metres etc, also you have to organise tailshaft, suspension upgrades etc, but please call Kev because there is no one else who could tell you more.

By the way i haven't done my conversion yet, but i went and spent about 4 hours with kev talking about this and he umm...enlightened me lol.

good point, also is it vibrating if you rev it out of gear? Put it in neutral and try to get the desired revs. If it vibrates then at least you can eliminate a couple of things

i had the same problem with mine, i had done a similiar build, and my valve clearances were rooted, once they settled in i had to reset the gap.

Hi everyone
Well i was bitten by the bug and bought this gem for $350.
Since i sold my ute i haven't been able to sleep ha ha.

My plans are simple in thought, hard to put into practice.
Basically i want to build either an SR20DE or CA18DET, R31 or hilux diff, silvia s13 coilovers, and a 4 link ass end.
I have a couple of engineering mates and a friend who is a sheet metal/boiler maker!!!
Body work is my specialty so most of the engine stuff i'm still learning. I do have more experience than the average enthusiast when it comes to engines and tuning as well as a lot of street racing lol

So here she is as i picked her up, updates to come, but they will be slow lol

There have been some minor repairs already done, but this is the best 120y i've seen as far as rust goes.
Thanks for reading i hope i can keep you entertained and informed. Ty
