i drive a VY S, still searchin for the right datto again, i love my commodore and they really are a good family car with a bit of spirit. But not really sports cars unless you mod them, like a standard 120y, not a sports car until you mod them.

Honestly, i;ve raced skylines on the street and although sometimes i had the lead of the line, i always get owned in the end lol
I like commodores and i like datsuns but if i were you i would drop the bullshit (wide body kit etc) and sell the car for what it is. A nice looking commodore, good paint, body kit, some scratches etc, but overall good car to cruise in.

Don't talk it up to sell it, let the car speak for itself...pictures usually help...

i'm just trying to figure out what i wanna do, i wanna build up a 1200 sedan or coupe, or a 120y coupe or 4 door.
I've done a 1200 ute and so i wanna do something a bit different.

If there is anyone out there in brissy with a shell they wanna get rid of give me a yell, i have next to no money but gimme a call, maybe i can do some sort of non sexual favour lol.

i had an A15, port n polish, lumpy cam, bored to about 1600, twin SU's custom intake manifold and cold air intake, 4spd and h165 diff. I loved it, very quick and very exciting to drive. more than enough to beat falcons and commodores lol...

I love 1200's but 1600's are getting easier to find these days. I love 1200 coupes sedans wagons and utes, but i only like the 1600 sedan...
Its a personal choice, like comparing ford and holden owners, both hate the other, but both are probably nice people lol

same thing happened to me, except i stripped teeth at the same time, you could buy another box if you needed to but i'd go dellow conversion, you'll thank yourself in the long run, if you do get another box chances are you'll have to replace it again anyway...

I got another box off a 1200, A12, for $50 so i couldn't argue lol

Hi everyone
well its true what they say, even though i sold my 1200 ute almost two years ago, sometime this year i was bitten by the modifying bug yet again and i'm on the hunt for a project car.

I'm saving for a deposit on a home at the moment so prob early next year i'll be able to start. I'm hoping to pick up something this year maybe, even just a roller, something for less than $100 lol.

Anyways its good to be back, hope to catch up with everyone soon
