what i need to do is kill the rust before i stop it from coming back so the body deadner is no good untill the rust is gone, if anyone in South Aus knows a bit about rust removal and wants to have a look at it for me and tell me what you think that would be greatly apriciated.

I have also been thinking about getting another shell but i want to keep the chassie and the suspention 'n' stuff cos that all appears to be a1 so how are the shells attached to the chassie is it just bolted or what?

I really don't want to get another shell unless i have to cos im on a budget and that would mean less money to spend on the interior and engine if i could get one with little or no rust for cheap id probably buy it otherwise i will have to keep
de-rusting it

the type of muffler you use would make the noise vary heaps go to your local exhaust place tell them what you want and they will know what to do its a pitty your not in adelaide i know the best exhaust shop they did a system on my R30 Skyline its a 2 1/2inch with a burkly straight through muffler in place of a cat or ressi and a stainless autotechnica cannon it's got a real deep note but its not excessively loud however it dose drone a bit at high rev's
if you have carline exhaust shops in tassie then id try them first
