I'd have to chip in and say that branch is not going to do you any favours. Even cast OEM manifolds pair them together 1+4 and 2+3.

Hi guys, sorry for digging this old thread up, but I found this video of the red car with the actual x-flow head on and was wondering if someone had posted it one here before...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6Hue-1gCKk&feature=related

The water pipes don't seem to be connected though, so I'm not sure if it was running or not.

I saw these on Gumtree and thought someone on here might be interested in them. It's Childs Albert conrods, they are forged aluminium if I'm not mistaken, and the guy recons he'd have used them on a L20B

Anyway, on to the ad... http://capetown-westerncape.gumtree.c ... onrods-W0QQAdIdZ365068671

And don't those conrod caps look so much like A series ones?

Will have to be very creative to make a set of mountings too. There's holes but they are oddly placed and on the exhaust side very far apart. Not impossible though.

Very cool, will be following this one!!!

Biggest thing as has been mentioned is the starter motor, but it would seem you can cut most of the sump area around the original A series starter away and maybe get away with fitting it there?
