I'm with Morgan on this one. it would definately have to be the GX5 though a prototype rotary sedan or coupe is rarer still !!

I'm using Koni in both my coupes, with the racecar having the standard adjustables converted to coilovers.

I run a Willwood set up in my car. It is the earlier style pedals with cast grips rather than the later black and sandpaper jobbies. The instructions with them are really good with all the dimensions shown clearly. All I did was cut the lower section of the original pedal box and welded a plate 3mm thick to the remaining two legs. I had drilled multiple mounting holes in the plate prior to welding to give me some adjustment. I can get a shot of the mounting plate but not with the pedal box since I have'nt replaced it after it being stolen out of the car last year..I also ran two rose jointed support rods from the rollcage cross tube that runs behind the dash to avoid any flexing. They are bloody good units and also offer a great tech support to help with master cylinder sizing and caliper compatiability. I run 2 7/8" m/c and have two set of Superlite calipers with different size pistons for differing set ups but I have stuck with the 1 3/8" pistons so far. The pedal travel is short but really good to drive with. I have copied the Willwood pedal boxes several times when building them for other people.

In the Gumball Rally movie in a scene near the end where the Camaro flips it's races past a green 1200 coupe on the freeway...

I sympathise with you Lakeside guys. We lost a great track Baypark in Tauranga to a housing development and Thunderpark dragstrip is now a farm. Closer to home friends of mine tried to get permission to build a motorsport complex in a park that has been used for motorkhanas and sprints for years and once the submissions went to council (over 700 for) the decision was made to ban any motorsport activity in the area !!! The system is crazy in a democracy based on majority rules that small groups of narrow minded twats can object and stop things.. Good luck with your fight.

They are very rare and if you can find one very expensive. NZ was lucky to get some left behind by the factory rally team and they were also run on a couple of Fomula Atlantic/Pacific open wheelers. All are accounted for and not for sale....

I remember seing a similar engine at Racing Beat in LA 15 or so years ago. They were building them for trials with NASA. With todays computers and advanced electronics running one of these would be a sweet idea..
