i looked everywhere and could not find an aftermarket one so i made one myself, took me about an hour and a couple of bits of sheet metal. just make sure you have it on the original angle to make up for the engine mounting angle.
i've never had any problems alot of people seem to do it. you may have to adjust the idle via the adjusting screw on the throttle linkage and reset the tps
the engineer that i was using told me i couldn't legally use them in a ute. the only way was to use clip on ones for track use, which is a good idea cause they get annoying on the street
do something about the standard trans tunnel, cut the top radiator support panel out to make it easy to get engine in and out. upgrade brakes suspension and diff, theres a few other things that i'll think of
hmm looks like i might have to clearance grind around where the head bolts are. the ones i got have the nut on top, its a good idea because you can put the head studs in before you get the head on but it seems the head wasn't designed to fit the right sized socket
has anyone used arp head bolts on thier ca if so what sort of tool did you use to do up the nuts? i cant seem to find anything that is small enough to fit in the gap but big enough to fit the nut.
