hmm that motor is fvct, as for a ca18det swap i would say i budget of around 10k is reasonable but it can be done cheaper if you pick up bargains do everything yourself, only get the basics etc

kev charges $400 for a plug and play loom but that includes relays and interior/dash wiring for a silvia cluster install. easy to install just a matter of running some wires to a relay for your fuel pumps

i've got a bit of an overkill system on mine its a holley blue lift pump into a 1lt surge tank and fed to motor by a bosche 044 all with 3/8 lines. obviously i dont have any problems with fuel starvation but the bosche is almost noisier than the engine.
