thanks... the diff is already out of the vehicle i think??? the guy says it is out of an executive ti and he reckons it is lsd. if you spin the axle they should both turn the same way if it is lsd correct??? as opposed to opposites with the open wheeler

just wondering if there is anything external on the complete diff assembly that will tell you if the centre is lsd on the r31 body shape.

i hate to say it mate but if youhave spent all that money and gone to all the trouble of doing the rotary conversion then you had better spend the money to keep it cool. rotaries are very susepable to heat since they are cooled by coolant and oil. you need to keep it cool or it won't last 5 minutes... especially a bridgey! i put a mod vl 5l in mine that was bloked in the middle of each tank for double circulation. cost around $400. i recomend you talk to some knowledgable rotary people before you buy anything. they will know what best suits... where are you maybe i can point you in the direction?? if not then the guy who built your motor would be a good place to start.

i have a gemini rad on my 1400 turbo and now that it is tuned it is too small. overheated 4 times on the dyno and now blows coolant regularly. i am looking at getting a custom 3 core built

is this primarily a drag set-up? i would not anticipate that there will be any boost below 4-4500 rpm. if the internals are done then i don't think there will be too much trouble with an 11sec pass.... maybe squeeze a 10 with some extreme conditions! that is mad!!
edit; don't forget to turn your oil gallary imput on the turbo straight up and down!

by old we are talking about engine design... push rod is old technology that is why all new engines are overhead cam, more efficient!
edit... not all, most!
