Nice one! I have one sitting at home in the shed, been there since before Maddat changed hands and is still looking as good as when I first bought. Can't say the same about some expensive Japanese parts I've bought.

Hey mate, I'm keen on the intercooler and bends. Would post or hold for 10days until I'm back in Brisbane? I'm happy to pay up front / prior to pick up.
Nathan

Man your build is awesome! Great attention to detail. Just a quick question - when you cut out and fab'd the new tunnel, how did you get such a neat fold in the original floor and firewall?

I don't know what parts you need but have you looked into what signal is required by the skyline dash and what commonly fitted electronic drives (and their signal output) are adapted to your type of gear box?
There are a few convertor boxes out now that will let you use pretty much any electric drive with any speedo and also have adjustment to get the speedo reading correctly. I purchased this speedo convertor to allow an S15 cluster to be used with my CA18 one is sinewave and the other is squarewave. http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cf ... d=59/mode=prod/prd126.htm

I'm part way through setting mine up in the ute, the battery is going under the tray behind the drivers seat, the positive cable will run to a 200amp circuit breaker (should be mounted close to the battery if one is use), then onto a keyed isolator which is mounted to the seat mount so I can reach it if needed. I also purchased a distribution block but haven't decided if I'll use that or just take the additional power supplies off the isolator. Power and earth then run to the starter motor.
I went with 1/0 gauge cable and mainly used audio gear. The grey and clear cables are the ones installed now, the red & black were damaged by a panel beater when the tunnel was welded up...

Hey mate, it really depends what you want out of the car. There will always be pros and cons with anything you choose. The external gate is the choose for better control of boost pressure but then you have the cons of purchase price of the gate and the new manifold.

I would suggest that you don't let the workshop decide on what to do as there goals may not be the same as yours. What specs have you built your motor to? No point going for a massive turbo and external gate if you haven't done some head work and added cams.

Do you have you car running and now want to go faster or are you just trying to build it bigger and better before it is even running? I still haven't completed my build but I have been in another 1200 ute which was a standard unopened engine amking aroun 150rwkw running a S15bb turbo, large exhaust, R31 LSD etc and it would spin 1st though to 4th gears on the street. Maybe try and get a ride in a few ca18 power 1200's and then make your decision from there (all assuming yours isn't and hasn't been running).

I haven't purchased seats from the US but have purchased many other items in varying sizes. 2g's might be a bit on the high side but they are a bulky item and once it gets to big you are paying for the space it takes up. I had a box that was about 1500 x 500 x 500 sent and that cost about $525. Even most small items end up costing at least $80 to send via USPS which is the cheapest method unless it goes in a shipping container.

They look like Tomei cam gears. Should be straight fit.
