If this is going to be the daily drive then put the a15 out of the ute in it and a CA in the ute. Keep the faster and more worked one as the weekender.

Are you sure that they weren't fuel injected? Something like this Injection Perfection or a quad throttle body off a GTIR sr20?

I have started to fit ac to my ute but I haven't finished yet. Firstly the ac compressor on the ca18 sits to low and will hit on the chassis rail so you will need to fab up a new bracket to fit it slightly higher up. Next you will need to figure out what ac unit you will run inside the cab. I have a CA18 fan and ac unit under the tray with the heater box under the dash. It still isn't sorted yet so not sure how effective it will be. I don't have any pics either as none of it is really finished.
