Hi Guys

I have a T25 off a CA18DET for sale for $125. Has very minimal shaft play and includes standard oil feed and drain and one of the water lines.

Also have a intercooler core for $75. Size approx 600 x 180 x 75 with Tube and Fin construction. I was told that it was a garrett core but I can't confirm this as the sticker is partly torn off.

I used a mechanism out of a toyota hilux with the handle on the inside. Cost about $80 for a full hilux tailgate and fittings. Cut up the part that the handle mounts to and welded it into the bolt-on section inside the datsun tailgate - the SR5 version is best to use if you do this as it is fairly flat around the handle. The mount the side bits were thay need to be. Some spacers will be needed to get the right spacing between the tailgate and body parts of the latches.

The splitfire coils have been discontinued. I managed to get a set a few months ago but they were old stock. Some places still advertise them but I had rung most of them and they could not get them in.

Also the cat works its best after it has heated up. If it is to far back then it is likely that it will take a long time to reach operating temp, or it might not even get there. Best to have a quick chat to your local exhaust shop on what they recommend. And I think you need to comply with the emissions requirements for the car the engine came from not necessarily the original datsun requirements.

My ute has a section in the floor which is raised for the cat. It is just next to the trans tunnel on the passanger side near the gear stick hole.
