How low is your ute. I'm running a 3inch system and my ute is fairly low (tops of front tyres are level with the gaurd, rears are slightly tucked) and I still have roughly 125mm of clearance from the bottom of the dump pipe. I am also running a metal substrate cat which is only 4in in dia and it is tucked up a little into the original spot for a cat. I'll try and post up some pics when I get home tonight.
My 1200 lives in the olds' garage. Has been in there for four years now and only gets taken out occasionally for work to get done on it. When I am working on it, it stays in the garage as well. They will be happy as when I finally finish it, then it will be moving into my garage.
Hey guys, I have a ute diff out of an 1980 model 1200 so I think it should be the larger version. I think it has a bit of play in it but can't remember as I haven't touched it in years. It is located in Redcliffe QLD. I am after $100 pickup. Nathan
Sorry mate I don't have any more pics. The top links are triangulated so that there is no need for a panhard rod. They are setup that way to stop the side-to-side movement. The triangulated setup move straight up and down compared to the panhard rod setup which moves in a slight arc.
I bought the coilovers on sale for $450 and paid $880 for installion/construction of the 4 link including all the bushes, bolts and the links. Didn't do any of the work myself
I bought most of my parts through places like panel house at slacks creek, alljap (i think) and a few other wrecker which can order in new non geniune parts.
