Yep I just tried that and it looks like i got no spark. Does that mean the ignition coil is bad?

also, i was just thinking. Shouldnt the car start regardless of whether or not the ignition switch is working? As long as the starter engages? Im sure you know more about this than i do.

also, i remembered how to push start it, that was a dumb question

This thing is giving me a damn headache. I posted a few weeks back regarding problems getting power to the starter. Well i remembered the trick of arcing the starter in order to start the car. That worked a few times until i decided to get a new battery since the old one was no longer holding a charge. I bought the battery and made a switch inside the car that engages the starter. Even that worked a few times until I drove it to a bar and could not start it when i was ready to leave that night. Now I've just had to have this thing towed, which blows. Im not sure what the problem is here. The engine turns over, the starter engages but its almost like it's not getting spark. I checked the ignition rotor and it looks like its a bit rough but not toasted. The ignition coil should still be good, the spark plug wires look good but and the spark plugs show normal signs of wear. I love this car but im seriously debating selling it at this point. I'm tired of putting money into it. Any suggestions?

Hey All, I was wondering if anyone knows seat belts specs for a b310. I.E - bolt size, thread, etc. The guy who had the car before me took them out and put GM lap belts in. I've been looking on amazon for 3 point retractable seat belts and im not sure if a standard size will fit.

p.s. - i was working on my datto in an O'Reilly Auto Parts parking lot and a kid drove by in a minivan and said "nice car fag". Funny thing is he was the one driving a minivan.

another weird thing: when this happens my headlights work, but the turn signals dont. What could that be? This is why i think it has something to do with a fuseable link that has more than one power type running through it.

This wiring is a mess. I think these fuseable links should be replaced, but im not sure if i can pick up some generic parts at autozone to make it work. I had a problem a while back with my car not starting. I sprayed some contact cleaner in random places and it started up. It's been running fine for a few months now. Until yesterday. Now it's doing it again and it's almost a matter of luck to get it to start. Any suggestions?
