Any well educated Datsun buffs out there know if a tow bar that fits a '74 120y wagon will also fit a sedan??
I know the bumpers are very similar.
Can anyone confirm with confidence one way or the other ?
Thanks heaps

Yeah I wish I knew how to post pictures into a thread. I can put em in my album. But I'm a bit of a techno dummy I'm afraid!!!
It's the bit on the outside of the window and it is attached to a chrome strip. Mine are way perished and scratching the outside of the window when i roll it up or down.It runs horizontal and i guess the purpose of it is to hold the bottom of the glass when the window is up, errrr. yeah of course to keep the rain out of yer door!!!
Thanks guys!

What is the black bit called that holds the window in the door. It runs horizontally and it's made of a soft plastic.
And where can I get a set for my '74 120y wagon.
Cheers Simon Open in new window

They are rare here too.
I think I'm going into the wrecking business.
What would a good aftermarket tacho be worth in your area?
You could get a fairly good one here with shift light for about $150 AU new.

There is a photo here somewhere of 13x8 steelies. He reckons it's stock guards and no scrub front or back. I tried to get some more detail when the photo was posted. Someone told me that cortinas came out with these standard on some model.

Currently I am using standard 13" steelies. They are painted a poxy silver and no caps of any kind. They look bad would be an understatement.
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest an improvement. I must stick with a 13" rim and 60 profile tyres. I want to stay with a "sleeper" type presentation and I was thinking of going with 13" x 8" black steelies no caps.
Any suggestions for any other type of wheel would be welcome.
Also I need to replace the black rubber/plastic bit that runs horizontally on the door windows. Does anyone know what it is called and where can I get it ? A queensland supply would be great, but I'll take whatever I can get.

Well the L20b is finally in the car and goes okay. It's a daily driver for me but One day i hope to circuit race it and I'm looking for advice. The side draught 40s are way cool and seem to be able to suck extreme amounts of fuel.I'm looking at putting a L18 head ,a cam, valve springs, extractors and polish and port. Can anyone advise on exactly what cam to use and what characteristics the new cam would give? And should I use an L18 or L20 head Cheers Simon
