Okay I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but I need something explained to me . I'm told that a pintara lsd diff would be a good option to put into my 120y. However from my enquiries so far all I can see is pintaras with east west motors. The obvious question is. Are these babies front wheel drive? do they have a rear a diff and axle set up that can easily go into my beast? Cheers Simon

Well the L20b is in the 120y, it uses bluebird series 2 crossmember ,radiator, thermo fan and gearbox hydrolic clutch. The motor has twin side draught webers and then through to 2 1/4" pipe with a single muffler. I'm also running 13" steelies.
It's been a major transplant and taken a heck of a long time but I must say I am happy with the result. It's a fun car to drive. I'll post some photos when I figure out how!

Before the wreck goes to the crushers. I have a beige pair of cloth bucket seats (they in reasonable condition)to give away. Pick up only. Toowoomba also the 14" rims and tyres if you want. First in best dressed.

What about the front diff out of a 4wd are they lsd

sounds fine. I'd like a ute diff. Shame about the open center though.Pm me with what you want for it and your contact number. Any tips on how to lsd it? I genuinely hope Pigdog is right and I don't break the bw. However if I do I want to have a spare close at hand!
