a common upgrade for the a15 is a 79mm (80thou over) mazda flatop piston, i have these in my race coupe. but dont know about the a14 bore size.
as for stroking maybe offset grinding the crank. ive worked to do both of those to an a15 would take it out to 1734ccs but thats only a theory. check the wiki im sure that there is something in there.

well me and my mate had a crack in the motorkhana in the little circuit 1200 of mine and did well, we both found out 90hp + rally tyres on front and road tyres on the rear + granite surface = loooooots of sidewaysness in the datto. i finished 1st in class and 6th overall and he finished 2nd in class and 10th overall out of about 30... he was some 25 odd seconds behind me but lol.
i now realise why it isnt a motorkhana car but, over carbed down low and over camed down low, and weak suspension, i cracked a leaf spring in the rear and only noticed it when it was in the shed at home off the trailer. not good when one is bending the opposite way to the other one lol. no biggy but.
the 12 hour was good and a little ca16 powered coupe from toowomba was very quick in the improved production class.
so overall, a busted 1200 but a good weekend had.

hi guys just seeing if anybody is coming to the 12 hour race at bathurst this weekend. ill be entering the datto in the motorkhana out the back of the pits (i would have prefered to be in the impoved production race, but what are you gonna do?)
let us know if you are coming and hopefully we might get some support going for the 1200s on track.
cheers kurt

mine are main jetted at 140 for bathurst conditions and 145 to 150 for sydney. it makes 90hp atw and is a fairly cranky little sucker it wont pull below 3500 and mumbos from 5000 to 8000 and beyond

hi guys a mate just showed me a video of the 69 gtr that owned everything on a japanese race track for about 3 years. i just want to know what engine it has in it.
and if our little a series made that sound i think we would eat, live, sleep, and continuously drive the things just to hear that sound!!!
or at least i would
