hey it's woody's girlfriend here,
with re-painting the red blue and white, I repainted Kurt's front and rear badges in nail polish - it's enamel with a small enough brush and i managed to find metallic shades that matched the datsun racing colours perfectly. it wears really well and takes me all of 5 mins to re-paint them before we go anywhere special.. :P cheap fix really, cost me less than $20 and they look awesome!!

hi guys
ive got my sports sedan for sale and i thought a little bit of extra advertisement in case anybody is chasing a non datsun nuts racecar
heres a link to my105.com to where its advertised
http://my105.com/ListingDetails/tabid/65/p/6/cid/518/id/3302/Default.aspx

basically the only thing gemini in it is the roof, the sills and the doors, the rest is fiberglass. it has a midmounted 186 holden 6 cylinder red motor with a duggan head, knife edged late model 202ci crank, individual 50mm throttle bodys and is run by a motec m48 ecu. the engine is good for around 300rwhp. not to bad for a car that weighs 900kg wet including driver. has 4 link watts link rear end which is fully adjustable, fully adjustable front end. muncie close ratio 4 speed with quick shifter fully rebuilt, 3 pack ap racing clutch, full detroit locker with strange 31 spline axles, pwr alloy radiator, oil cooler. the engine has been built to run on avgas and has 11.5: 1 comp ratio
its an extremley well known hillclimb car previously owned by wayne (hack) burden and it still holds hillclimb records in nsw, sa, qld, and vic. i purchased it off him almost 2 years ago and have only done 8 laps of oran park gp circuit in it when the block externally split, which prompeted a full rebuild of the engine and a Lot of maintenance work.

massive amount of spares including all fiberglass moulds, wheels, gearbox, diff, springs, swaybars, laptop to tune the motec, various bits and pieces

asking price $39500

the car can be viewed on a dyno, on a hoist, and at the track by appointment.

only catch with these cars is that i need them gone within 2 weeks (12, 13th of february) unless aranged prior. and both cars go complete, im not taking anymore parts off them

on my race a15 im running twin 40mm webers with a holley black pump. i agree its massive overkill, noisy, and is a bit of a bugger to mount at times due to the layout of the pump. im also running a walbro adjustable pressure reg at the firewall which runs at 4psi. webers dont like much more pressure than 4-6psi.
on my turbo a12 im just running a standard pump and its holding up just fine so i dont think you will have an issue with a standard pump setup, but i would upgrade the supply lines to 10mm including in the tank like i have in my race coupe just as added insurance
