Hi everyone,
It's not Woody here, I'm Tash, his GF :P He's going on and on about a IPRA flare set with the wing and everything for his race coupe, and also a second kit for the street car..
It's his 21st early next year and it would mean the world to him, if i could turn up with a kit for his racecar :)

There might be a thread on here somewhere, but i'm trying not to alert him to the fact i'm on here.. haha

If anyone could point me i the right direction, that would be great!!

Cheers,
Tash

cracka50: what you would need assuming that your ute is registered, has good tyres, brakes and that you have no cams licences or anything and do hold a drivers licence. wakefield park do a track licence for a year, it will cost you $90 last time i checked, with your ute being registered you should be fine to run without a rollcage (bit of a cams loop hole), or you could get a cams level 2 speed licence at $110 and join a car club. i think the bathurst light car club is around $30 for an adult member. i will sus it all out if we get a few more numbers.
djf280: apparently we would have plenty of track time :p
anybody got any ideas on a month to do it in?

s14 sr20 vvti is just awesome when suspension is set up right. they are a little bit front heavy. and the sound they make when the vvti hits makes you want to keep it there and they have plenty of pull. i have a mate with one in his ke70 corolla and its just a fun car full stop

gday brian
ive been running ipra in hillclimbs and supersprints. i would like to get into the series but now that there is no o-1600cc class i think id be too under powered with the a series.
from what i have heard the series is run really well, has a really good atmosphere and everyone is usually well behaved contact wise (apart from the odd error)
if you want to try having a go now, because the car is registered you wouldnt need a rollcage to do a supersprint, although i would very strongly recomend it. all you would need is a l2s cams licence at minimum which is around $99, a club membership, entry fee, usually around the $180-160 mark and your running costs to have a go. the bathurst light car club is holding a 1/5 mile drag and a esses hillclimb on the 15th and 16th of may respectivly if you wanted to check that out
otherwise go out there and have a ball.
in regards to the car definatly 15", look at the rear suspension and yeah a bigger set of brakes in the long run with the ca
cheers kurt.
