Does ALL 2 door 1200 Sedans have SAME standard A12's in it? or they have someother engines as standard too? i have also seen one here so i might want to buy one if it has a better engine then a standard A12.

its commonly known to be 9:1, can u tell us where u read it? or how u know for sure?
BTW 8.3:1 ratio isnt bad at all for turbocharging A14 IMO.

do u guys think that a L16 out of 510 will fit easily in my B-310 which currently has A12 motor. as someone on this site said that later model datsuns also came with L series engines.

there r many methods for controlling boost pressure
some use boost control valves before reference line to wastegate, some use electronic boost controllers, some just put WG actuator in a vice and press them, some use bleeds, some use a spring to increase resistance on WG opener. do a search on google for BOOST CONTROLLERS u will find more then u need bro

SAAB has made the prototype, it will go in production in a couple of yrs, its supercharged which engages when boost is needed only, its block moves few degrees away or closer from crank to increase or decrease compression. compression ranges from 8.x:1 - 13:1(approx.) it basically combines power of a supercharged engine and economy of NA engine.

what about L16?
whats its HP? some says 60HP some says 96, now i cant believe 36HP is the difference between gross and net HP!!!! not possible IMO.
those of u who have tried a stock L16 in place of A12 what was your experience? was the car faster with L16 in stock form?????
