also that some sites say that L16 is 60HP while others say its 96HP!!

i read somewhere on this site that A10 HP is 69, which makes it equal to A12, can anyone tell me its true or not?
does this makes a stock 1000 faster then B210? provided both r coupe models. as 1000 is with lighter body!

i was asking my mechenic today about old Datsuns, and he mentioned some Datsun 1200 with a OE twin carb setup, he was sure of what he was saying!!
can u guys tell me which model had this engine? what HP was it rated at?
BTW whats the name of the engine in 510 (1600 CC)?

came accross this article, a must read for any one trying to get his datto turbocharged without boxing the carb, its described for a supercharged car but applies to a turbo too. IMO a better option then boxing, other useful info too.

just a little more info...
difference between a petrol and diesel turbo is its seals, diesel turbos dont have positive seal turbo seals, which means that if u we put it in a suck through system they can leak oil under extreme vacuum, which happens when throttle is closed in a suck through setup, while in blow through extreme vacuum is not build up, so they r ok for blow through, but could give problem in suck through.

ok, i agree with u on this.
though i will use the system i described above on A12 when i start the project. as there r no MAP Sensors or Air Flow Sensor Plates in an A12

most of OE cars with a BOV but without its whistle(or hsssshhhh) sound have this loop system. that sound goes back into the.......u know what i mean.
