Hey guys...i need help...

I just installed a a Weber 32/36 DGV on my A15 from a 1981 Datsun 310...and...i cant get it to idle straight...unless i unscrew a few mm the Primary Idle Jet screw, which is stupid because it should be completly screwed in...

And if i close the idle mixture screw...the engine dies...if i unscrew it...counter clock wise...the engine starts to rev like crazy...and doesnt die out as it should...any idea what i could be?

The jet setting i have is this:

Air Correction: 175/145
Fuel: 120/145
Emulsion Tube: F66/F66
Choke Tube: 3.5/4.5
Idle:
50/55

Peace...

The way to wire a amp meter is easy...you just need to wire it in series with the + ou - terminal cable that goes from the alternator to the battery...

Never plug in parallel!! Always in series....

So this is what you do...disconect the alternator + cable...or cut it in between...hook up the side of the alternator cable to one side of the amp meter and conect the battery cable half to the other terminal in the amp meter...

Let me sum it up...i didnt explain it well...

Your amp meter is like a bit of cable...imagine you have a positive wire....that charges you battery...it goes from the alternator to the battery straight...now imagem you cut that cable in half...you open the circuit...if you hook up each half to each side of te ammeter, you will be closing the circuit...and all current that flows from the alternator will show on the amp meter...

If you still dont get it...read about connecting stuff in "SERIES"...and you'll get the picture...that is how i hooked up mine im my 120Y...

Peace...hope i helped....

ps: here is a pic...i took it off the net...is not in no car...just and example how to connect this...the ampmeter is in series, the volt meter in parallel...maybe it will explain it better...

Guys...i had the most brilhant idea....

I was looking at the windsheild...and i was afraid of forcing it to much...and out of nowhere it hit me......PENCILS!!!!

I had a pack of 25 chinese pencils that cost me 99 cents and this is what i imagened...

The photo is pretty crappy...so let me explain...the easiest way to get the windsheild out was to pull back the rubber all way along the windsheild...so then i got the idea of putting pencils all around the window, puling back the ruber...i pulled back the rubber with my hand and inserted a pencil between the rubber and the metal of the car...as soon as i got it all in...i added another pencil right next to the last one...and so on...i used like 10 pecils, one next to another...on the top rubber and on the side rubber...

I was worried that it wasnt going to work...but as soon as i pushed the window with my hand from the inside...it poped just right out...hehe...

It felt like magic...if anyone wants to remove there windsheild...i strongly recomend this method...i did not use extreme force...i just pushed it out...very simple and very easy...hehe...

I guess i can say....the pencil is mightier than the sword! hehe....

Thanks a lot...Peace world...
