There's a wrecking yard going out of business in Arizona. There's almost every type of mass produced car there, from what I've seen.Owner's selling cars for scrap prices. Here's a link:
The wheels are PS brand wheels, GT model. I was going to buy a set of these back in the early/mid '70's.I don't think that the company's around anymore.
Is anyone planning on attending? It's Saturday,May 24,2008,at the fairgrounds, next to Marine World. I'm considering trying to get the B210 done,& drive it down for the event. Hey,it's only about 300 miles (each way)
Your car is probably a Canadian spec car. Check the ID tag,or the engine emissions tag under the hood. Canada didn't go to the metric system until the mid/late '70's.So you could still have a speedometer in MPH.
I agree that we're kind of spoiled here. People complain, but it's almost always while driving big Hummer-type vehicles. I had a GMC 3/4 ton 454 cid tow vehicle. 42! gallon gas tank.I was thinking about how lousy the milage was while waiting at a stop light.I sold it for $1/lb. - $6800! What a waste of money to drive everyday. But I notice that the younger guys love the jacked-up 3/4 ton diesel crew cabs - to haul a honda Quad, etc. And they always have to to their "foot to the floor"when they drive. How cool is that? I wish that I had money to waste like that!
